Poetry of the Pandemic

POETRY OF THE PANDEMIC takes the reader on a journey through the many emotions experienced during the Pandemic, while copying with many other issues. The poems are meant to inspire us, give us hope, encourage and guide us as we navigate these unprecedented times. We are called to action to remember our past, cherish our present, and shape our future.

Laurie Fischer isa poet and first-time author. He, his wife of 40 years, Cathie and their dogs, Rhett & Willy live in Winnipeg, Manitoba during the summer and Clearwater, Florida in the winter. They have three daughters, Christie, Rachel and Pamela and two grandchildren.

With a lifelong love of theatre, Laurie and Cathie founded North Kildonan Community Players in 1997 and have produced 24 musical productions.
