A Port in the Storm (APITS) provided over 1,000 people and their families, from rural and northern communities, a place to call home while in Winnipeg for medical treatment. Unfortunately, they closed in July 2020.
After A Port in the Storm wound down as a registered charity, the remaining assets were transferred to three other charities that are committed to perpetuating A Port in the Storm’s mission. We are honoured to be one of them.
