Winnipeg Kinsmen, Red River Co-op and Sals helping Manitobans affected by cancer!
We were humbled to receive a large grant from Winnipeg Kinsmen, during this challenging fundraising period for the Foundation. Their support means that we can continue to provide non-interrupted support to Manitobans, who are facing challenges due to cancer. Keep playing bingo – those dollars are having an incredible impact on numerous organizations in Manitoba.
One challenge for many Manitobans affected by cancer is a reduction in income and an increase in expenses. Fuel costs are an added strain for many, especially for those that reside outside of Winnipeg. We are thankful for $2,000 donation of Co-op gift cards that will help these families get to their appointments.
Salisbury House Pay it Forward Campaign raised $2,975 over the holidays plus an additional $2,375 in gift cards that will go towards client support packages. A meal out can be an emotional boost for someone who has been struggling with cancer and financial challenges.
